Travel Information 

 
Expect to rent a car if visiting Brisbane.   While the city does have some rail infrastructure and bus routes, the city is geared towards automobile transportation.    
Arrivals to the city come to the Brisbane Airport (BNE) which is the third most trafficked airport in the country.  The airport is reputed to have good service and won the award for staff friendliness in 2009 for airports in the region of Asia.   Seventy five percent of the traffic is domestic travel with the rest being international travel to the continent.  About 18,000,000 passengers per year travel through BNE.
